Harvest

Harvest is a series of canisters with lids. The canisters can be stacked when covered with the lids because both the tops and bottoms of the rounded rectangular shapes are flat, making the series easy to store. The design is intended to offer a pleasing appearance when arrayed as is on the dining table.

Biography

Product designer, born 1944 in Tokyo. After graduating from the wood crafts department of Tokyo Metropolitan Kogei High School and Musashino Art University, he worked as a research student at the Institute of Industrial Arts and Crafts before establishing the Katsuhiko Ogino Design Office Ltd. in 1966. He has been working on the design of furniture and other woodwork, ceramics and metal castings, as well as general household products.
